»Flexible Compositions« is an ongoing project, exploring interactive posters built using Javascript. The poster visuals in the first two series can be moved around by the audience, by simply changing the mouse position. The series ‘Visual Noise’ is about audio-reactive shapes and it explores how visuals react to the amplitude or frequency of sound.
In both cases, the audience is put at the centre of the creative process and plays an essential part of the visual creation. Understanding how code works opens up new ways of thinking and designing. Playing with basic geometric shapes, repetition and symmetry - the code-based design makes it easy to create a variety of individual visual outputs.
